Burning carbs means your body has to burn fat in order to replace the energy lost, not the fat lose.
The result? Your metabolism goes into overdrive, and you burn fat like crazy. So I recommend you get yourself straight down the gym and start a strength training program. Even if you’re a girl, you should be aiming for short but intense strength training workouts. Why? Muscle requires more calories to maintain than fat, so you’ll naturally burn more calories whilst resting!
This is one method to learning how to burn belly fat, the other is also to eat foods rich in protein. Protein is the only nutrient that builds lean muscle, and like I said above, this is the key to losing that flabby weight around your belly.
If you want to tone up your abs, perform exercises like weighted crunches and sit ups. These are isolation exercises that should not be the main focus of your workout, as they’re simply not going to burn as many calories as compound exercises such as squats and deadlifts.
